West Delray Woman Accused Of Stabbing Boyfriend After He Took Her Seat On The Couch

A West Delray woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend after he stole her seat on the couch.

According to an article in the Sun Sentinel, Vercelyn Mann and her boyfriend were watching TV, but began arguing when her boyfriend asked her to move over and she refused.

Mann went to get popcorn and when she returned, she found that her boyfriend had taken her spot. Mann then stabbed her boyfriend in his thighs with a kitchen knife and destroyed three flat-screen TVs, furniture and two of the windows on her boyfriend's car.

When deputies arrived, they heard things breaking inside. It is estimated that Mann caused more than $5,00 worth of damage. Mann was arrested and faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief. Mann had faced the same charges last November.02
