A Delray Beach woman is accused of offering cash to a hit-and-run victim rather than calling 911.

Investigators say the woman was driving a GMC SUV when she stopped at an intersection. While turning left, she hit a teen who was trying to cross the street, and launched him about 10 feet. The teen asked for medical attention. Instead, the woman offered him cash, which he refused. A witness snapped a photo of the woman’s license plate as she drive off.

The teen suffered torn ligaments and cuts. The woman faces charges of hit-and-run. She said she left the scene because she panicked.
