After a West Boca man’s apartment was burglarized, surveillance video showed that the culprits were his own neighbors.
The man left his apartment at 1 p.m. and returned around 11 p.m. to find his apartment ransacked. Among the stolen items were two TVs, an Apple laptop computer, a Samsung Galaxy tablet and chargers, two DVD players, 20 DVDs, a cell phone, three watches and a sheet and comforter set. The items were stolen during three different trips to the apartment and totaled around $4,200.
The surveillance video showed three people going in and out of the apartment and then back into another apartment 25 feet away. A detective went to the suspect’s apartment, where three people admitted to the burglaries. They now face charges of burglary and grand theft.
