A Delray Beach man faces trafficking, firearm and fleeing charges after trying to escape police by driving in reverse.

According to an article in the Sun Sentinel, an officer spotted a Ford Escape that matched the description of an SUV being used for narcotics sales. When police tried to pulled the car over, the driver took off in reverse.

Police chased the SUV up I-95 and were soon able to pull the driver over. Anice Termilien, 21, had in his pocket heroin, marijuana and $353. In between the seats of his SUV, he had a handgun. A passenger in the SUV tried to run, but was apprehended. He had heroin on his person, as well.
