Two men face charges after crashing a stolen car and injuring five people.
One suspect stole a white BMW that was parked outside of a convenience store while its owner was in the process of selling it to the store’s owner. The suspect and his passenger then led police in a chase when the BMW struck a patrol car. It then crashed into two other vehicles after running a red light. Five people, including children, were injured or taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the stolen BMW faces charges of grand theft auto, failing to remain at a crash involving injury and fleeing and eluding. The passenger in the stolen car faces charges of trespassing and resisting an officer without violence.
