A masked burglary suspect was looking for a lucky break when he broke into a Deerfield Beach convenience store and walked away with 1,500 scratch off lottery tickets and he may have found it when he targeted that location.

While state lottery administrators usually void the tickets after they are reported stolen, a Broward Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman said the store owner didn’t keep good records of the tickets, which means the burglar may be able to cash in if any of the tickets are winners.
