A Sunrise man was arrested after being pulled over for a seat belt violation when police allegedly found documents in his possession with the identities of 94 people.

According to an article in the Sun Sentinel, the 29-year-old was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt and nervously admitted to having tax documents in the trunk of his car. Found in the trunk were debit cards, social security cards and driver’s licenses. The man also told investigators he had filed 18 fraudulent tax returns this year, but had yet to receive any refunds. He now faces charges of 94 counts of possessing the identity of another person without their consent and failure to wear a safety belt.
