A Miami-Dade police officer who was pulled over for DUI asked the FHP trooper to let him go.
The man was pulled over in Plantation after making an illegal U-turn on Florida’s Turnpike. His breath smelled of alcohol and he showed other signs of impairment. He failed three roadside sobriety tests and twice refused a breath test. He also identified himself as a police officer and showed his identification. He asked to be released because he felt police officers should stick together.
The man was taken to jail where he vomited red liquid that smelled of alcohol. He then fell asleep in the liquid. He was charged with DUI.
