A Passion For Defending Good People In Bad Situations
I grew up in Long Island and achieved my undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1981. From there, I became involved in real estate, but found my work to be unfulfilling. I began to notice good people being mistreated by law enforcement. More and more I began to hear about more good people being bulldozed through the court system. I felt like I needed to do something about this. I had a deep desire to prevent injustices and felt a calling to prevent the government’s abuse of authority. I decided to pursue this calling and I attended Nova Southeastern Law School (Nova Law School) in Florida. I graduated in 1986 and was immediately hired as a public defender in Florida. Here, I honed my skills in the courtroom by working on high volume of cases. I appeared in court daily trying cases and arguing motions. My passion has continued, and to this day I fight to defend those whose rights have been violated. I now work hard to give clients a second chance when they are facing DUIs, drug possession weapons charges, and any and all state and federal crimes. At the Law Office of A. Randall Haas, we put at least two sets of hands on every case to ensure that proper, effective decisions are made. My staff and I take pride in our close communication with clients, thorough investigations, and unyielding protection of the rights of our clients.

How Can An Experienced Criminal Defense Attorney Like Randall Haas Help Me To Fight The Accusations Against Me In A System Where The Odds Seem Stacked Against Me?
Our experienced criminal defense attorneys in Florida at the Law Offices of Randall Haas have the skills to win at both the negotiating table and in the courtroom. I’m never afraid to take your case in front of a judge and jury if that’s where I’ll find the best solution. Your opponents already know of my expertise at criminal and DUI litigation, which often gives us an immediate advantage at the negotiating table- they’ll offer you a better deal right away, because they don’t want to face me in court. Other, less experienced lawyers may often be seen as afraid to take their cases to a courtroom, but I prepare every case with a judge and jury in mind.
How Will You Prepare My Criminal Case?
Preparation is my key to your success. I spare no effort in my careful research of your specific situation. While my experience allows me to be familiar with many important legal aspects of your case, I recognize that every lawsuit is unique, and stay creative to recognize vital new avenues of exploration in your defense. Through meticulous and detailed fact-finding, I may be able to find new clues and evidence that may clear your name, get your charges dropped, or at least be powerful tools in the case for your defense. That, along with my legal expertise, is how a lawsuit is won.
Your Personal Florida Criminal Attorney
As soon as you come to me, I’m all ears. Listening to your side is important, not just to your case, but for your own peace of mind. I intentionally limit my caseload so I can dedicate the attention to my clients that they deserve. Every case I take is personal to me, and I’m just as invested in your victory as you are. I understand that other legal advisors may not have treated you with the dignity and respect that you deserve. But at my law firm, I help you take your life back into your own hands. You’ll also be informed of your case’s progress every step of the way, and every legal option you have will be completely explained. Your input is important.
A Customized Strategy For You- From Simple To Complex Cases
Even for the more straightforward cases, in order to get all the facts, I can complete a full investigation, which includes reviewing police records, talking directly to the officers, reviewing traffic cameras, and checking nearby security cameras from other buildings. There may also be additional eyewitnesses that the police haven’t questioned. My resourceful staff and I can look deep into your situation and potentially uncover new and important facts. No matter the size or scope of your case, I’ll be able to handle it as your Florida criminal defense lawyer.
Crime Scene Reconstruction
In the past, I’ve partnered with experts to recreate the scene of your alleged crime, performing experiments to find out the facts that may have been lost to time or the elements. This situational analysis includes skid mark measurements, vehicular damage measurement, and any other objects or trials that can give me another look into what really happened. These important findings can go a long way in exonerating you and clearing your name once and for all. If necessary, I’ll hire further reconstructionists or experts in the appropriate other fields- whatever it takes to win your case.
