A suspected burglar who fell off a ladder during the crime was made to return the stolen items by his dad.

According to an article in the Sun Sentinel, Jacob Ropp and a friend broke into the Boca Raton home of another friend and stole $24,000 worth of purses, a computer and a monitor. While climbing down a ladder with the monitor, Ropp fell, smashed the monitor and required three staples in the left side of his head.

Somehow, Ropp’s father found out about the burglary and made Ropp return the stolen goods. Ropp was able to return only three of the fourteen purses he stole, along with the computer and the smashed monitor. Ropp was arrested and faces charges of larceny and burglary.
